Dubai Return, the Irrfan Khan starrer film made in 2005 that had previously been showcased at the New York International Film Festival, is now all set to mark its Indian premiere at the Bandra Film Festival (BFF). Launched on February 25 this year, Bandra Film Festival is a collaboration between Filmkaravan and YouTube. Recently, noted film journalist and author, Aseem Chhabra joined its Advisory Board alongside Abhay Deol. Chhabra made the decision to initiate the Indian premiere of the whacky-comedy, Dubai Return featuring Irrfan Khan, Vijay Maurya and Razak Khan, helmed by filmmaker Aditya Bhattacharya on July 3.

Expressing his gratitude for working with BFF, Chhabra said in a statement, "I have had a long association with the FilmKaravan’s team and respect their commitment to independent cinema. So I am thrilled to join the Bandra Film Festival's advisory board. I look forward to working with the BFF team to scout for deserving titles and share with the audience”.
Pooja Kohli, Artistic director at BFF revealed that she and Aseem had been long time friends ever since they worked together at 2006 NYIFF. It was during their discussion that Chhabra mentioned some titles including Irrfan Khan's Dubai Return.
Another Aditya Bhattacharya directorial featuring Aamir Khan, Raakh is currently streaming on BFF's platform. The film is Bhattacharya's critically acclaimed neo-noir debut feature. You can watch the films premiering at Bandra Film Festival on their official YouTube channel.
