The Bollywood siren was earlier supposed to be in Bengaluru for the Gadang Rakkamma song launch, which didn’t pan out.

Only three days to go for the Vikrant Rona trailer launch and the buzz is strong that the team is working towards putting together a spectacular on-ground event with the cast and crew in attendance, including Jacqueline Fernandez. The Bollywood siren will release the Kannada trailer version of the trailer along with Sudeep, we hear. It was earlier reported that Jacqueline and Salman Khan would be at the on-ground event to launch the first single, Gadang Rakkamma on May 23, followed by major metro city visits to release the song in its other language versions. While that did not pan out and the different versions of the song were just put online, the immense popularity of the Ajaneesh B Loknath composition, including the hook step, which became popular reel material, is reason enough for Jacqueline to be at the trailer launch, reckon industry insiders.
In fact, following the success of the Gadangg Rakkamma song, Jacqueline had posted a video with message of gratitude in which she teased that she will soon be in Bengaluru. Whether Salman Khan, who is presenting the Hindi version of the Anup Bhandari directorial in the north Indian belt through his Salman Khan films, will be at the trailer launch event remains to be seen, but it is expected that he will grace at least one occasion, be it the trailer launch or pre-release, given his close association with Sudeep.
The 3D fantasy-action-thriller is set to release in theatres on July 28 and netizens have been wondering why team Vikrant Rona was releasing the trailer more than a month ahead of the film. Too early, they reckon, even though they are excited about what is in store. Vikrant Rona, produced by Shalini Artss and co-produced by Invenio Origin, is Anup’s first film with Sudeep. Also, on board the cast are Nirup Bhandari and Neetha Ashok, among others. William David, who’s worked with Anup on Rangitaranga, fills in as cinematographer on Vikrant Rona.
