Jacqueline is beautiful inside and out and today, she is a dear friend as well: Kiccha Sudeep

Bollywood siren Jacqueline Fernandez is all set to debut in Kannada cinema in less than three weeks. The actress is a part of superstar Kiccha Sudeep’s next, the fantasy-action drama Vikrant Rona, in which she has done a scene and one of its most popular songs – Gadang Rakkamma. The lyrical video of the song, which features fleeting visuals from the video, including the hook step, had gone viral after it came out, and had pretty much everyone attempting the #Rakkamma hook step reel on social media. Even Sudeep did his first-ever reel at Jacqueline’s behest.

Recently, when Sudeep was asked about Jacqueline during the promotions of Vikrant Rona, he said that she is now a dear friend. The Kannada superstar added that she is a beautiful girl not just by her features, but by her heart as well. Most importantly, he said, Jacqueline is honest and very hardworking, as well as pleasant and calm with no airs about her. Sudeep thoroughly enjoyed working with her and getting to know her in person in the process. He also remained hopeful that he will get to work with her again.

The 3D film Vikrant Rona is set for a July 28 in Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam, although the makers are gunning for a 14-language release. Sudeep has dubbed for his role in 4 of the 5 Indian language versions, except Malayalam. He is currently in the midst of dubbing for the English version as well. The satellite and digital rights of the film had been sold to Zee Kannada and Zee5 respectively, so the buzz is that there will soon be a massive pre-release event. The makers have also partnered with Salman Khan Films and PVR Cinemas for the distribution of the film directed by Anup Bhandari. It also stars Nirup Bhandari and Neetha Ashok in pivotal roles and has music by B Ajaneesh Loknath.
