Jaha Bolibo Shotto Bolibo: Mimi Chakraborty is back as a lawyer after six years

Mimi Chakraborty is all set to debut on OTT with a brand new Hoichoi show, Jaha Bolibo Shotto Bolibo – a web series based on true incidents. This Hoichoi series also stars Tota Roy Choudhury. Mimi and Tota will play two opposing lawyers. The trailer was dropped recently.

Mimi previously played a lawyer in a film, Dhananjoy, based on a real-life event of Dhananjoy Chatterjee’s hanging. Directed by Arindam Sil, the film also features Anirban Bhattacharya. In the current series, her character will fight for justice for a cop in the backdrop of an accident and murder. Tota Roy Choudhury will contest her.

The series is directed by Chandrasish Roy. It is based on an accident and murder in Kolkata on New Year’s Eve. There is also the charge of molestation. But there was no witness. It remains to see how Mimi will get the perpetrators punished, and whether she defeats or gets defeated by powerful ministers and veteran lawyers.
