Jaideep Ahlawat, who celebrated his 45th birthday on February 8, 2025, came across the rumours of his fee hike from Paatal Lok season 1 to season 2. It was previously reported that the actor earned Rs. 40 lakh for Paatal Lok and Rs. 20 crore for Paatal Lok season 2. However, when confronted with the very rumour, Jaideep's reaction was a laugh. Jaideep laughed when quipped with the rumour of his fee hike. It was previously reported that he got 50 times the hike between Paatal Lok season 1 and 2. However, he dismissed it with a laugh. While conversing with Hindustan Times, the actor asked, "Arre yaar itna tha toh mujhe bata toh dete. Main kuch kar leta iss paise ka. Hai kahan ye paisa, gaya kahan?"
The rumour of Jaideep Ahlawat's fee hike
Jaideep Ahlawat, a source was quoted telling Pinkvilla, hiked his fees from Rs. 40 lakh to Rs. 20 crore in between Paatal Lok seasons 1 and 2. This birdie specifically mentioned that it happened because Jaideep proved himself as an excellent actor, which led to his OTT growth. While stating so, the source also mentioned that the kind of salary was limited to OTT and that the actor would not earn the same kind of money when working in theatrical films.
