With less than two days remaining for the auspicious festival of Diwali to begin, celebrities from the film fraternity have decked up their residences, offices, and private places with lights and flowers. To add spark to the festivities, several celebrities are even hosting Diwali parties. The latest addition to this list is filmmaker Karan Johar – who is hosting a Diwali bash this evening. A huge number of celebrities have started arriving at Dharma Productions’ Mumbai office at the moment.
Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor repeat the same saree at Karan Johar’s Diwali bash
At first, we saw the stunning arrival of Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor. The lovely sisters wore elegant sarees and were looking just like a wow. Soon after the photos and videos of these two celebrities surfaced online, eagle-eyed fans noticed something in peculiar. Notably, these young Bollywood princesses wore old sarees at Karan Johar’s Diwali bash.
Reportedly, the sarees worn by Janhvi and Khushi today were initially worn by Janhvi earlier this year during her Tirupati temple visit. Clearly, Janhvi and Khushi believe in the concept of reducing, reusing, and recycling. Many internet users appreciated the celebrity sisters for this eco-friendly move.
One Instagrammer wrote, “Great initiative by Kapoor sisters.” Another Instagrammer wrote, “Wow. Bold eco-friendly idea.”
“They always look fresh and stunning no matter what they wear,” wrote another admirer of the celebrity sisters.
Earlier in October, Bollywood superstar Alia Bhatt made headlines after she wore her wedding legenga to collect her National Film Award for Best Actor (Female) category.
