Japan: Vijay Deverakonda, Dulquer Salmaan, Silambarasan and Rishab Shetty come together for Karthi's film

Movie buffs were curious when Raju Murugan announced his next project with Karthi a while ago. The film being bankrolled by Dream Warrior Pictures was later titled Japan. Anu Emmanuel plays the female lead in the movie which has music by GV Prakash.

The makers revealed yesterday that a promo video from the film will be unveiled today on the occasion of Karthi's birthday today. Silambarasan was roped in first to release the video at 11 am today, leaving fans of both the stars excited. Later, the team announced other stars from different industries to do the honours.

Rishab Shetty, Vijay Deverakonda and Dulquer Salmaan have also been brought on board to release Japan's promo videos in Kannada, Telugu and Malayalam respectively. The movie will hit screens in all the four south languages around Deepavali festival.

A short glimpse video was revealed an hour ago by makers teasing cinephiles who have been eagerly waiting for the promo. A still of Karthi wielding guns in both hands was also let out by the team, to make the star's special day memorable.

This isn't the first time several actors from various industries are joining hands to reveal a promo material. Venkat Prabhu's Maanaadu which was released in 2021 was one of the first occasions in Kollywood where different actors came together to surprise film enthusiasts.

The other day, Dulquer Salmaan, Daggubati Venkatesh, Karthi and Shivarajkumar joined hands to release the promo video of Ravi Teja's pan Indian movie Tiger Nageswara Rao.
