Jawan pre-release event: Shah Rukh Khan says Anirudh is like a son to him, leaves the crowd enthralled

The pre-release event of Jawan has turned many heads and has taken social media by storm. Shah Rukh Khan's presence, Atlee's speech and Anirudh's energy were a few highlights of the event. Though there was speculation of Vijay attending the event, he did not turn up.

However, a video of Kamal Haasan wishing success to the team was played at the event, leaving the crowd excited. Priyamani shaking a leg to One, Two, Three Four from Chennai Express along with SRK was one of the best moments of the evening.

SRK's bonding with Anirudh wins hearts

During his speech, the Bollywood star was all praise for the talent the Tamil film industry possesses. Jawan boasts numerous technicians and actors from Kollywood, and the film is expected to take a huge opening in Tamil Nadu on September 7.

He said that Anirudh is like a son to him and that he liked his work from the days of Why This Kolaveri, leaving fans overwhelmed. The musician, too, said that he would badly miss all the interactions he had with King Khan. The Leo composer revealed that he used to have a video chat with SRK for several days.

When SRK went gaga over Tamil Nadu

SRK also added that the finest movies in India are coming from Tamil Nadu and that he was more than happy to have participated in an event like this in the state. He praised Vijay Sethupathi for his professionalism and called director Atlee a 'marana mass'.

The audience went crazy when the Bollywood star mentioned that he had asked choreographer Shobi not to come up with complex steps during the shooting as he can't dance like Thalapathy Vijay.
