We had earlier reported that after streaming Lal Salaam, SunNXT has bagged the post-theatrical streaming rights of Jinn-The Pet, a Tamil fantasy film which released in theatres earlier this year. It has now begun streaming on the platform and available on OTTplay Premium.
Written, directed, and produced by TR Bala in his directorial debut under the Fairy Tale Pictures banner, Jinn-The Pet is about a man who brings home a mystical box, which contains a supernatural entity Jinn. Only slowly he realises that the Jinn is not a curse of his life, but a boon which turns out to be his saviour.
The cast of the film is led by Mugen Rao, along with Bhavya Trikha, Bala Saravanan, Imman Annachi, Radha Ravi, Vadivukkarasi, Nizhalgal Ravi, Vinodhini Vaidyanathan, George Vijay, Master Shakti and others in supporting roles. The technical team consists of cinematographer Arjun Raja, editor Deepak, and music composer duo Vivek–Mervin.
