John Abraham will be seen as India’s first super-soldier in newcomer director Lakshya Raj Anand’s Attack. The film will be out on April 1, not long after SS Rajamouli’s long-awaited period epic RRR.

We don’t need a goddess of intuition to say that releasing post any Rajamouli release is not particularly a wise decision. However, Abraham is confident that his upcoming actioner is going to make a place for itself.

According to NDTV, Abraham, while speaking at the trailer launch amicably stated, “We've been promised a certain number of screens, we have been assured by our partners that we will get good screening (sic).

“I have a lot of respect for Rajamouli sir and his kind of cinema, but we also have a lot of respect for what we have done. We are definitely not number two to anyone, (sic)” he added.

Chairman and MD Pen Studios Jayantilal Gada cleared out the fix when he stated that the box office has witnessed twin hits in the past and it can happen again.

Written by Lakshya Raj Anand, Sumit Batheja and Vishal Kapoor, Attack also features Jacqueline Fernandez, Rakul Preet Singh and others. Shashwat Sachdev scored the tunes while Attack has been shot by PS Vinod, Soumik Mukherjee and Will Humphris.

Now we have to wait and watch for the final round when both the films fight for their share of the pie and each time it happens the audience comes out having the best experience and the last laugh.

Meanwhile, RRR, directed by Rajamouli stars Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt in pivotal roles.
