Viraj Ashwin, who had two releases this year - Mayapetika and Baby - will now headline Jorugaa Husharugaa. The film is set for a release on December 15. Pujita Ponnada is the female lead in the drama directed by Anu Prasad. Nireesh Thiruveedula produces the film under Shikhara and Akshara Arts. Sonu Thakur, Siri Hanumanth, Madhunandan, Sai Kumar, Rohini, Brahmaji essay supporting roles.

Ahead of its release, the makers launched the trailer in the presence of Uppena filmmaker Buchi Babu Sana. The glimpse commences with Sai Kumar’s dialogue about progressing in life. “Making progress in life is not merely earning money, but winning the love of people,” the middle-class father says. His son Santosh wishes for something at a temple and the backdrop later shifts to a corporate workplace.

Santosh has a girlfriend at work, who happens to be his superior. She doesn’t want their love life to come in the way of their professional equation. There’s new excitement at the workplace with the arrival of a new employee and Viraj’s superior craves for some excitement in his life. There’s a healthy dose of humour - the combo of Madhusudan and Brahmaji ensures a few laughs.

Later, there’s some tension within the family when the father’s ideals clash with his son’s life. The father says he doesn’t have any property and the son takes a dig at him. Meanwhile, Santosh experiences insecurity in his relationship with his girlfriend as well. Lightening up the mood is a Brahmaji dialogue on why he hasn’t married to date. The trailer promises a simple, relatable film catered to youngsters and families.

Praneeth Muzic has scored the music for Jorugaa Husharugaa. Viraj Ashwin’s uncle Marthand K Venkatesh is the editor of the film while Mahi Reddy Pandugula is the cinematographer. Aditya Music has acquired the audio rights. After Jorugaa Husharugaa, Viraj will be seen in director Satish Kasetty’s Mareechika, that also stars Anupama Parameswaran, Regina Cassandra.
