JugJugg Jeeyo actor Kiara Advani feels motivated when she is compared to Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt

Kiara Advani is now basking in the glory of the successes of her two back-to-back films. Shershaah opposite Sidharth Malhotra and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, opposite Kartik Aaryan have been massive hits. She is gearing up for the release of her next film, JugJugg Jeeyo.

The actor is one of the top performers in the country and many have been comparing her with Alia Bhatt and Deepika Padukone. This has only left Kiara on cloud nine. While speaking to India Today recently, Kiara opened up about being compared to the two actors. The MS Dhoni: The Untold Story actor said that she feels amazing.

She said that such comparisons only motivate her to do her best and take up solo projects. She was all praise for Deepika and Alia and said that she admires what they do. She said, “It is amazing because they are amazing as actresses. I think I might be doing something right [to be put in the same league] and it is highly motivating." She added that she admires them and loves their work. "I love their work, and it pushes me to do better and take on solo projects. It is very motivating,” she added.

She went on to say that though they motivate her, these comparisons have also made her more conscious about the way she looks at a script as the audience expectations have increased. She now rethinks before finalising a script but she said she does not take any pressure. She looks at the script from a different angle. She said, “When I look at a script, I rethink how the character should add to the story. In a constructive way, sometimes, I do look at the expectations differently.”

Meanwhile, Kiara Advani is awaiting the release of JugJugg Jeeyo. The family comedy film also stars Varun Dhawan, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor. Directed by Raj Mehta, the film will release in theatres on June 24. Apart from JugJugg Jeeyo, Kiara also has a film with Ram Charan. Directed by Shankar, it is tentatively titled RC15. She also has Govinda Naam Mera with Bhumi Pednekar and Vicky Kaushal in her kitty, which is expected to release this year.
