JugJugg Jeeyo box office collection day 2: Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani starrer witnesses an impressive jump

JugJugg Jeeyo, which stars Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapood, had a decent start at the box office. The latest reports state that the movie has had a better Saturday in terms of collection than its opening day. 

As reported by Box Office India, JugJugg Jeeyo has collected Rs. 12.25 crore nett on its second day. The growth on the second day is reported to be around 40%, which is one of the highest second day growths for a Hindi movie post-pandemic. The movie made Rs. 9. 28 crore on its opening day according to official figures. 

The movie on Saturday saw a 65-70% jump in the state of Gujarat. With Sundays usually seeing good footfalls in the state, the movie is expected to run well in the state. The family entertainer had a solid opening in Delhi NCR, and its form continued on Saturday. 

According to the latest reports, the movie’s total collection stands at Rs. 20.5 - 21 crore nett and it is expected to collect 35 crore nett plus in the first weekend.

Directed by Raj Mehta, the movie has received favourable reviews following its release. JugJugg Jeeyo also marks Neetu Kapoor’s return to the big screen after having appeared in the 2013 comedy, Besharam.

Produced by Dharma Productions and Viacom18 Studios, the movie also stars Manish Paul and Prajakta Koli in important roles. The movie will stream on Amazon Prime Video following its theatrical run.
