Jugjugg Jeeyo performed admirably on Sunday, earning over 14.50 crore nett thanks to strong growth in the mass sectors and a respectable overall growth of 20%. As per Box Office India, the issue was that since a large portion of business comes from the metros, which are largely flat on Sunday, this type of film does not experience much growth overall.
According to production figures, JugJugg Jeeyo successfully concluded a fantastic debut weekend with a strong Sunday, demonstrating a 20% increase in collections. The movie earned Rs 15.10 crore on Sunday, giving it a first-weekend total of Rs 36.93 crore. In the marketplaces of Delhi, Punjab, the central circuit, Mumbai, Mysore, and Andhra, audiences continue to appreciate the movie.
Jugjugg Jeeyo is similar to Hollywood movies, but they grow even less on Sunday. This might possibly have been the case, but it had significantly higher Sunday sales in Gujarat, MP, and Rajasthan, which indicated a noticeable increase. Even if it didn't expand much on Saturday, Delhi NCR continues to be the movie's finest locale. East Punjab performed well on Sunday as well, although the weekend as a whole could have been better.
A 35 crore net business was recorded on the film's opening weekend, which is decent given how previous weekends have performed over the past six months. The weekend is a little bit lower than Gangubai Kathiawadi, even though it was a bigger movie.
The film received the necessary numbers on Sunday to remain in the running, and now it is up to Monday to decide the film's fate. The weekend trajectory suggests that the film should hold well, at least in the bigger multiplexes, which is the target audience for the film.
Directed by Raj Mehta, JugJugg Jeeyo features Neetu Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, and Kiara Advani in the lead roles. The film also has Maniesh Paul and Prajakta Koli in supporting roles.
