After teasing a romantic glimpse, Dulquer Salmaan has dropped the first single from his upcoming film Kaantha, which also stars Bhagyashrii Borse. The first song titled, Panimalare, from the period bilingual film, exudes old world charm and romance along with its enigmatic leads. Let’s take a look.

Kaantha first song Panimalare out

Kaantha, an upcoming bilingual film, which stars Dulquer Salmaan in the lead role along with Bhagyashrii Borse. As promised, DQ has dropped the first single from the movie titled Panimalare on August 9. Kaantha is a Tamil-Telugu bilingual film and Panimalare is the title of the Tamil version of the song, while the Telugu song is titled Pasi Manase.

The song is composed by Jhanu Chanthar, and crooned by singers Pradeep Kumar and Priyanka NK. The song has a playful vibe to it as the lead romantic pair dances their way into our hearts. Dulquer is charming, and so is Bhagyashrii as they appear as a love-struck couple, but the fun vibe remains intact throughout the song. From the lead couple’s appearance to the setting, the song has an old-world charm.

Kutti Revathi has written the lyrics, along with additional lyrics by Sivam and Deepika Karthik Kumar.

Kaantha release date

Kaantha will release in theatres on September 12, 2025, after the festival of Onam in Kerala. Apart from the lead actors, the film also features Rana Daggubati and Samuthirakani in key roles. In the earlier released teaser, Samuthirakani is seen as a senior filmmaker who seems to be at loggerheads with Dulquer Salmaan’s character, a film star. Rana Daggubati is also a co-producer of the film, along with Dulquer.
