Kaathal The Core OTT release date
The project, which marked Mammootty’s first onscreen collaborations with both director Jeo Baby and leading lady Jyotika, is set to get its OTT release in December 2023. If the latest updates are to be believed, Kaathal The Core will be released on OTT during the Christmas weekend, mostly on December 23, Saturday or December 24, Sunday. However, it has been confirmed that the family drama will get an OTT release exactly a month after its theatrical release.
Kaathal The Core to stream on Jio Cinema
The grapevine also suggests that Kaathal The Core will exclusively stream on the renowned OTT platform, Jio Cinema. In that case, the Mammootty starrer might also emerge as the celebrated streaming platform’s first-ever exclusive release in Malayalam cinema. An official announcement on the same is expected to be out very soon.
As reported earlier, the prestigious OTT platform was keen to make its Malayalam entry with the direct OTT release of Kaathal The Core. However, leading man-producer Mammootty, who was keen to release the Jeo Baby in theatres first, reportedly turned down the offer. Well, the megastar’s decision eventually proved to be right, as the family drama is performing well at the box office.
