Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kadhal title track out

The title track from director Vignesh Shivan's latest offering, Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kadhal, was released today. The soundtrack's music label released the same on social media with the caption, "When it rains , it pours 🌨️ Dropping the most-awaited surprise 🥰🤩#KRKTitleTrack streaming now 😎➡️

Anirudh, who has scored the music for Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kadhal, thanked music composer Santhosh Narayanan for singing the song with him and Vignesh Shivan for penning the lyrics. Taking to his social media page, Anirudh wrote, "#KRKTitleTrack 🥳 Thank you my brother @Music_Santhosh for singing with me and of course super words by @VigneshShivN (sic)." The romantic comedy stars Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara and Samantha in the lead. The supporting cast includes Prabhu, Kala, Redin Kingsley and Sreesanth.

It was only yesterday that the making video from the film was released. The two minute- long making video takes the audience through the light moments that the actors shared on the sets, besides Nayanthara and Vignesh shaking a leg. Though the film was well received by the audience, critics panned it for the insensitive portrayal of the concept of polyamory. Cinematography for the film is by Vijay Kartik Kannan and editing by Sreekar Prasad. 

As a thanksgiving gesture for the success of the film at the box office, Vignesh Shivan and the film's leading lady Nayanthara, paid a visit to Shirdi recently. Vignesh, who shared a picture of the duo from the temple, on his social media page, captioned it, "From Shiridi wit my Kanmani.. gratitude trip to meet Sai Baba for all the lovely moments. #KaathuVaakulaRenduKaadhal #blessed #Blockbuster #ThanksGiving (sic)." 

Samantha, too, took to her social media page to thank Vignesh Shivan for her character Khatija that has become a hit with the audience. She wrote on her social media page, "Khatija ❤️ Thankyou @wikkiofficial for letting me have fun with the role . Comedy is my favourite genre and it’s always extra special when I get to play a role that allows me to be who I truly am (aka the funny girl).You delivered more than you promised and I will always be grateful ♥️Thankyou @jukalker 💕 @sadhnasingh1 @koduruamarnath 💕I love you ♥️ (sic)."
