Kalidas Jayaram and Tarini Kalingarayar get married in traditional style | SEE PICS

We had earlier reported that actor Kalidas Jayaram will be marrying his fiancée Tarini Kalingarayar. The couple tied the knot on Sunday (December 8) at a ceremony held at Guruvayur Temple in Kerala, in the presence of their families and friends. The couple had followed a traditional south Indian style wedding.

Kalidas Jayaram and Tarini Kalingarayar get married

Actor Kalidas Jayaram, who was seen in films like Raayan, Natchathiram Nagargiradhu, and Por, got married to his fiancée Tarini Kalingarayar at the Guruvayur temple in Kerala. Son of veteran actor Jayaram, Kalidas had announced his engagement to his long-time sweetheart Tarini Kalingarayar sometime back. Following this, the couple got married in the presence of their friends and family.

Social media is flooded with photos taken from the wedding venue. Kalidas wore a traditional style dhoti in red, paired with a red shawl, while Tarini was spotted draped in a light orange saree and temple jewelry. The couple were seen performing the wedding rituals, with Jayaram also participating.

During Kalidas and Tarini’s pre-wedding celebrations, Jayaram said that this was one of the happiest days of his life as this has been a dream-come-true moment for him and his wife Parvathy. It is to be noted that earlier this year, Jayaram’s younger daughter and Kalidas’ sister, Malavika, tied the knot to Navaneet Girish in May.

The young actor, who predominantly works in Malayalam and Tamil films, was seen in three Tamil films this year. Kalidas kickstarted the year with the release of Por, co-starring Arjun Das. The film is directed by Nejoy Nambiar. He also played a minor role in Indian 2 featuring Kamal Haasan, before appearing in a supporting role in the Dhanush-starrer Raayan. The film is available for streaming on Prime Video.
