A Hindi adaptation of international crime drama Magpie will soon premiere on SonyLIV. It has been titled Kan Khajura.

The International crime drama Magpie has got its Hindi adaptation. Titled Kan Khajura, the series will premiere on the OTT platform, SonyLIV. Today, the makers of the web show made an official announcement and shared the list of the ensemble star cast. Kan Khajura stars Roshan Mathew, Mohit Raina, and Sarah Jane Dias, alongside Mahesh Shetty, Ninad Kamat, Trinetra Haldar, Heeba Shah, and Usha Nadkarni. With a big cast on board, the series promises to have a good narrative and emotional resonance.
Directed by Chandan Arora, Kan Khajura has been produced by Ajay Rai. As the series boasts an ensemble star cast, the series might highlight themes like betrayal, redemption, complicated familial ties, and the resilience of the human spirit, like the original Magpie.
In an official statement, Mohit Raina spoke about being a part of this crime thriller. The actor revealed that his character in Kan Khajura has various shades associated with it. Raina further mentioned that he tried various looks to get into the skin of his character. and it eventually turned out to be a well-etched character.
According to Mohit, Magpie, the global series, was always a story that was to cross borders and be adapted for the Indian audience. The actor added that he is glad to be a part of the story, which is being helmed by Chandan and also has a great star cast and other teams. "It's a collective endeavour to honor the show's legacy and ensure an unforgettable journey for our audience," he said.
For those who are unaware, this series is in the original format under a license granted by Yes Studios. Magpie was created by Adam Bizanski, Omri Shenhar, and Dana Eden. For that matter, Kan Khajura becomes the third Hindi adaptation of an Israeli series for SonyLIV. Earlier, the OTT platform featured Your Honour and Tanaav (Fauda).
