After Canandian singer Shubh’s India tour was cancelled, artists like AP Dhillon and Dino James came out in support of Shubh. However, Dino later issued an apology for backing Shubh, saying that he did not know the reason behind the cancelation of the tour. Now, Kangana Ranaut, who is known to be vocal on several issues, has posted her comments on the issue on her Instagram Story.

Dino James’ reaction to Shubh’s India tour cancelation

Reacting to the cancelation on Shubh’s India tour, Dino James had taken to his Instagram stories to post, “@shubhworldwide is a great artist. It's unfortunate that this concert got canceled. Anyway, next time jab hoga I will be in the front row bro.”

He later took to X (formerly Twitter) and apologised for his Instagram post. He wrote, “I sincerely apologise for the story I posted earlier. I had no idea what had happened in the last 2 days and was only expressing sadness for the artist. Please pardon my ignorance.”

He continued, “India is my home, my motherland and has given me everything and has made me who I am. I apologise for any hurt I’ve caused my brothers and sisters from India and my fans across the world.”

Kangana Ranaut reacts to the controversy

Kangana shared Dino’s apology post on her Instagram stories with the caption, "Punjab ka yahi haal hai (This is the exact situation of Punjab). When I spoke against Khalistanis, they managed to convince entire Sikh community that I am against whole community, even today my films are banned in Punjab, unko excite karke misguide karna sabse easy hai (it's very easy to misguide them by getting them excited)".

"Sikh community must disassociate themselves from Khalistanis and more Sikhs must come out in the support of Akhand Bharat, the way I am boycotted by the Sikh community and how violently they protests against my films in Punjab for speaking against Khalistani terrorists is not a good decision or sign from their end. Khalistani terrorism makes them look bad and it will ruin the credibility of entire community and their overall perception. Jai Hindi", she further wrote.

The Shubh controversy

Canadian-born singer Shubhneet Singh, known as Shubh, had posted a distorted map of India on his Instagram stories with the caption "Pray for Punjab.” After this, his 'Still Rollin India tour' was canceled due to allegations that he supports the Khalistan cause.

The rapper responded with an Instagram post that read, "As a young rapper-singer hailing from Punjab, it was my life's dream to put my music on an international dais. But the recent happenings have tumbled my hard work and progress, and I wanted to say a few words to express my dismay and sorrow."

AP Dhillon backs Shubh

Canadian singer-songwriter AP Dhillon came out in support of Shubh. He took to his Instagram Stories to post, “I try to stay out of all the social mania as it is clear to me that regardless of what I say or do, it is a lost cause… someone, somewhere, is going to spin the narrative to their liking and create more division. As an artist, it has become almost impossible to stay focused on your craft and do what you love.”
