In a mini series of screenshots posted by model Ian Connor on Instagram, Kanye West has boldly asserted that he is not bipolar, it was a misdiagnosis. He says that he has “signs of autism” from his car crash in 2002, which left him with his jaw wired shut and led to the creation of the hit song Through the Wire.
In the screenshots, West writes, “When are we going to speak. You owe me nothing. You never have to speak to me again. But if we do speak. The nature of the relationship has to change. I’m not bipolar. I have signs of autism from my car accident.”
Now this is not the first time Kanye has been vocal about his mental health. In an interview with X17, in December 2022, West had claimed that he was not bipolar, instead he said that he “may be slightly autistic.” He felt no hesitation and even declared it to be “part of [his] superpower.”
The text to Musk ends with a twist, “You can’t watch Kim keep my kids from me. And not say anything publicly and then call yourself my friend so I can bring my audience to your struggling platform,” probably referring to X, formerly known as Twitter.
The message is proof of his ongoing tussles with Kim Kardashian, especially as far as the custody of their children is concerned. Though West claims that Kim keeps him away from them, just a few weeks ago he was seen with his son Saint at a soccer game in Italy. Though the duo had a lovely experience, West was spotted texting rather often, throughout the match.
The motivation to this rant is still not known, however West has not been back on X despite having his account reinstated in July. Previously, it had been suspended, as well as most of his other social media accounts, due to a series of anti-Semitic remarks made by the rapper. This time, Kanye simply asked his friend Ian to post the screenshots and get the message out to the public, as he is still not able to access his accounts.
