Chhaava starring Vicky Kaushal, Rashmika Mandanna, and Akshaye Khanna is doing exceptionally well at the box office. The film which hit theaters on February 14, focuses on the epic biography of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. Apart from fans and critics, the film has been getting a lot of love from celebrities as well. Now, a while ago, Karan Johar took to social media and reviewed Vicky's movie, Chhaava.
Karan Johar took to his Instagram Story and shared a poster of Chhaava. Showering love on the film, the filmmaker shared his valuable review. He penned, "#chaava!!!! Badhai ho on the BLOCKBUSTER success of a solid film with an unstoppable and emotionally visceral and relentless last act."
He further added, "Vicky Kaushal is brilliant and is the SOUL and heartbeat of every frame and Akshaye Khanna is exemplary!! Congrats to Dinoo, Laxman and all @maddockfilms."

On February 17, Rajkummar Rao took to his Instagram Story and shared his review for Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava. In Chhaava, Vicky Kaushal was seen as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. He was the second Chhatrapati of the Maratha Empire, ruling from 1681 to 1689. Rashmika Mandanna played the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj's wife, Maharani Yesubai.
Akshaye Khanna played the role of Aurangzeb. Ashutosh Rana was seen in the role of Hambirrao Mohite. Diana Penty played Aurangzeb's daughter, Zinat-un-Nissa Begum. She was a Mughal princess and the second daughter of Emperor Aurangzeb and his chief consort, Dilras Banu Begum.
Meanwhile, Chhaava is an epic historical action film based on the life of Chatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the second ruler of the Maratha Empire. It is an adaptation of the Marathi novel Chhava by Shivaji Sawant.
