Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Jaane Jaan trailer launch outfit costs as much as a new smartphone

Are you completely obsessed with what Kareena Kapoor Khan wore at the Jaane Jaan trailer launch recently? The wine coloured outfit flaunts all the right curves and so, it is tough not to be smitten by it. Kareena, too, carried it with such finesse that you cannot stop looking at her. Well, if you wondered how much would this dress cost you, then it is quite a dime. You could buy a new smartphone at the same price.

The ensemble from Arohi costs a total of Rs. 27,975. It is available in small, medium and large sizes for the same cost. The dress can also be customized to one’s likes. Any quality smartphone, except an iPhone, of course, would start from the price range.

How did Kareena carry the look?

Kareena did not customize the look a lot. She kept the wine colour, bralette and transparent overcoat. However, it looks like she got the bottom of the outfit customized just so there isn’t as much skin show as the original photo promises. While the model was seen in a high bun, Bebo opted for a low bun. She wore dangling earrings and completed her look with black heels. The actress was literally ‘high heel te nache (dancing in high heels, a song from Kareena’s film Ki and Ka).’

Ever since Jaane Jaan trailer was unveiled, everybody was curious to know who Maya D’Souza really is. Seen in an abusive relationship, she is very protective of her daughter. However, Maya has a neighbour who appears to know about the whole situation. She also comes across a police officer who thinks she’s a high suspect in the murder case of her husband.

Jaane Jaan is inspired from the Japanese novel, The Devotion of Suspect X. Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, it also stars Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma in the lead roles. The film will release on Netflix from September 12.
