The premiere of Disney+ Hotstar's upcoming series, Karmma Calling, is just a few days away. The show features Raveena Tandon in the leading role as the elite queen of Alibaug, Indrani Kothari, while Namrata Sheth plays her adversary, who is seeking revenge. The makers are leaving no stone unturned in promoting the series ahead of its big release. To accomplish this, they released a video in which Urvashi Dholakia's iconic Komolika and Raveena's Indrani square off.

Iconic face-off: Indrani vs. Komolika

The promotional video shows them introducing each other, giving a glimpse into their characters. While Komolika doesn't need an introduction, Raveena, as Indrani, also shows off her style with "Akhiyon se Goli Maare". Meanwhile, they both strike up a conversation about how they know how to create "kalesh" and ruin other people's lives. Well, it's a cakewalk for them. However, Indrani does say that she is also not scared of Karma, which is what the show is all about. The best part of the video is how Urvashi takes a trip down memory lane and talks about keeping Anurag and Prerna apart for about 4000 episodes, only for them to get together in the end.

Versitality in roles

Raveena spoke at the trailer launch event of Karmma Calling, expressing that she and Ruchi Narain were destined to work on this project together; it's their "Karmma Calling." Their friendship has flourished as a result of their discussions about this project, and now they have completed it. As a skilled filmmaker, Ruchi emphasizes nuance and character.

Talking about the roles she opts for, the actor went on to say that in KGF 2, she portrayed Prime Minister Ramika Sen; in Aranyak, I was Police Officer Kasturi Dogra; in Maatr, she was a heartbroken mother; and in Welcome to Jungle, she will be playing a different role. This ultra-glamorous role in Karmma Calling is coming up next. Raveena wanted to do this, so it filled the bill; it was a perfect fit.

Disney+ Hotstar will premiere Karmma Calling on January 26, 2024.
