Kartik Aaryan kickstarts Shehzada shoot, shares photo from the sets

Kartik Aaryan is on a movie signing spree and soon after dropping the trailer for Dhamaka, the actor has now kickstarted the shoot of a new project. He took to his social media pages and shared a photo from the sets of his forthcoming film Shehzada in which he is paired opposite Kriti Sanon. The actor has started shooting for the film which is the Hindi remake of the Telugu blockbuster Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo featuring Allu Arjun in the lead role. 

Kartik posted a photo holding the clapperboard of Shehzada and is seen standing inside a white mansion. The Telugu film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo was directed by Trivikram Srinivas who also penned the screenplay. The film also featured Pooja Hegde, Tabu, Jayaram, Sushanth, Nivetha Pethuraj, Samuthirakani, Murali Sharma, Rajendra Prasad, Navdeep, Sunil, Sachin Khedekar and Harsha Vardhan play pivotal roles.

Meanwhile, the Hindi film is directed by Rohit Dhawan and also stars Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal, Ronit Roy, Sachin Khedekar, Ankur Rathee, Sunny Hinduja and others in supporting roles. 

While announcing Shehzada, Kartik had written, "Duniya ka Sabse Gareeb Prince," and even announced the release date. The film is set to be a theatrical release on November 4, 2022. 

For the uninitiated, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo is a film about swapping infants soon after their birth and one turn out to be a Prince while the other who is the actual Prince is brought up at the small-time employee's household. 

The Telugu film is one of the highest-grossing films of 2020 and made about ₹262.05 crores at the box office. 

Meanwhile, Shehzada marks the second outing of Kartik and Kriti after Luka Chuppi.
