Kartik Aaryan rose to fame with Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety in Bollywood. After the phenomenal success of the film, there has been no looking back for the actor. He has delivered a few hit films, including Bhool Bhulaiyaa and Luka Chuppi. Recently, on No Filter Neha season 6, Kartik recalled the 'lull' period of his life before Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. The actor revealed that people weren't aware of his existence before the Luv Ranjan directorial was released in 2018.
Kartik Aaryan opens up about the struggling period of his life
On Neha Dhupia's chat show, Kartik Aaryan admitted that there was a 'lull' period before Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety happened to him. "There was a lull period where people didn’t know who I was. They didn’t know that I existed," he said. Kartik added that he didn't even have a car to go to award functions and would travel in an autorickshaw. This continued until the initial three to four films that he did.
Later, Kartik purchased a third-hand car but the door on the driver's side of that car was jammed and wouldn't open. "Now, the funniest thing used to be that when there was a valet, I would ask him to open the door of the passenger side, I would jump on the other seat and get out of the car, and then I would jump back in the same way," recalled Kartik.

Meanwhile, Kartik Aaryan has a few film releases this year. The actor will be seen in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 with Triptii Dimri, Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit Nene. Directed by Anees Bazmee, the film is scheduled for a theatrical release on Diwali this year. Kartik is currently busy shooting for the horror comedy in Kolkata.
Before that, the actor will star in director Kabir Khan's movie, Chandu Champion. It is set to arrive in cinemas on June 14, 2024. The actor's last theatrical release was Satyaprem Ki Katha with Kiara Advani in 2023. It was helmed by Sameer Sanjay Vidwans.
