Kartik Aaryan on his recent success with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2: I would have never changed anything in this journey

Even though the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 team was optimistic about the film's commercial possibilities, according to Kartik Aaryan, they didn't anticipate the film would boost the prospects of the Hindi film industry at the box office. The Anees Bazmee-directed film, which debuted on May 20, earned favourable reviews from critics and viewers for its amusing plot and appearances by Tabu, Rajpal Yadav, Kiara Advani, and Aaryan. After box office disasters like Bachchhan Paandey, Samrat Prithviraj, Heropanti 2 and Jersey, the movie, produced by Bhushan Kumar-led T-Series and Cine1 Studios, has made Rs 230.75 crore globally.

At a recently held media event, Aaryan said that it feels wonderful and he had no idea that they would be able to resurrect the industry. They had hoped that the movie would do well. They honestly didn't think it would surpass Rs 100 crore and never anticipated it would exceed Rs 200 crore, over and above what they expected. They were certain that families would appreciate it because it is a fun movie. The response of children, even as young as three, singing Hare Ram, amazed him. Everything seemed unreal, and they had no idea it would pierce so deeply.

The actor, who has recently recovered from COVID-19, claimed he was unable to enjoy the film's success and is still pressed for time to celebrate. The movie is currently in theatres and even ranks in the top five on Netflix. Since a new record is established every day, it hasn't really sunk in yet. According to what he has heard, 10 million people have seen the movie so far.

Due to his monologues in the romantic-comedy Pyaar Ka Punchnama movie series, the actor from Gwalior gained fame. Before Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and Luka Chuppi shifted the direction of his career, he went through a boring period. Aaryan claimed that looking back, he would not change a thing.

The actor announced that he is currently filming Shehzada's final schedule and will thereafter switch to Hansal Mehta's Captain India. He is also working on a musical love story with Sameer Vidwans that is still untitled.

The Hindi version of Allu Arjun starrer Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, Shehzada, directed by Rohit Dhawan, has a different approach than the original, according to Aaryan. The actor is aiming for Shehzada's final schedule and calls it an entertainer that comes as a full package. It has been modified and some changes have been made from the original. But they have used the fundamental concept. However, the humour and other aspects differ from the Telugu flick.
