Kartik Aaryan reacts to Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 clashing with Kangana Ranaut starrer Dhaakad at box office

The Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani-starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is set to hit the big screens on May 20. Interestingly, even Kangana Ranaut's starrer Dhaakad is releasing on the same date. Thus, we can call it a clash of the films featuring the "self-made" actors of Bollywood. During a recent group media interaction, Aaryan was asked to comment on the clash, as often Ranaut gives a shoutout to him, but this time they are competing at the box office.

While answering, the Dhamaka actor stated, "Thankfully, both the films are of different genres; you can see that from the trailers themselves. From the business point of view, we are getting great openings on Friday as the audience is rushing to the theatres to watch the films. I liked the Dhaakad trailer and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2's too, so there will be a set audience for both the films. I don't look at it as a competition, but as an 'and', so please watch both the films."

Earlier, while talking about the same, Aaryan told Bollywood Hungama that it would not happen because the target audience is different. Both films are of a distinct genre, and they can be seen in the trailers. In today's world, if a film is good, it has good business. This demonstrates that people are going to the movies. On May 20, audiences will have the opportunity to see two flicks. Both Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Dhaakad should do well at the box office.

The film is directed by Anees Bazmee and is a standalone sequel to the Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan starrer film, which was released in 2007. The original film, directed by Priyadarshan, is the Hindi remake of the 1993 blockbuster Malayalam film Manichitratazhu, which featured Mohanlal, Shobana, and Suresh Gopi in the lead roles.
