Kaushik Sen and Rituparna Sengupta pair up for Pathikrit Basu’s next

After his film Kacher Manush with Prosenjit Chatterjee and Dev, Pathikrit Basu is all set to make his new film with Windows Production. The film will be produced by Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy. The film is set to feature Kaushik Sen and Rituparna Sengupta. It is the story of a kid who is a chess aficionado. The kid dreams of being a successful chess player. His mother encourages him to pursue chess. The name of the film is Dabaru. 

Rituparna might play the mother and Koushik, the kid’s coach. If that happens, then Rituparna will work once again with Windows after Bela Shuru. 

However, it is not yet decided who will play the child. Paran Bandyopadhyay will be the grandfather. The shooting will start in July.

Rituparna said, “I had a talk with the director, but I did not yet sign the agreement.” Koushik Sen said, “The director told me about the film and my character. But I did not yet discuss the script.” 

Koushik Sen recently appeared in the film Ardhangini, directed by Koushik Ganguly. Churni Ganguly and Jaya Ahsan were also in the film. The film delves into the story of marital relationships and interactions between ex and present wives.
