KBC 14 promo: Amitabh Bachchan’s poetic monologue on the ‘light of knowledge’ will inspire you; watch

Kaun Banega Crorepati is continuing its legacy of bringing the light of knowledge into audiences’ homes, with its latest 14th season. The new season saw fan favourite Amitabh Bachchan return to the KBC stage as its host. Big B never disappoints when it comes to his hosting duties, and his poetic monologues before kick starting each episode are definitely one of the best parts of the show. A new promo of the upcoming episode of the show shows Amitabh give a beautiful monologue about the strength of the light of knowledge or ‘Gyan ki Roshni’.

In the monologue, Big B is heard talking about the speed and strength in light, which allows people to see far into space and gaze at the stars. He also gave a poetic example of how even when travelling high above the land in an aeroplane, people are able to see the lights down below despite the darkness. The host goes on to talk about how light can forge its path no matter how long and dark it is. Similarly, the KBC hot seat recognised the ‘Gyan ki Roshni’ or the light of knowledge in people, and called them to the hot seat, no matter how far away they may be.

The promo was shared on the official social media handles of Sony Television, and captioned “Jahan andhera hota hai, wahan gyan ki roshni se nayi raah sajti hai. Aur KBC ki ye hotseat aapki uss roshni ko pehchaanti hai. Toh iss hotseat par aaiye aur apni nayi raah ki ore chaliye!”

The current contestant on the hot seat is software engineer Suma Prakash. The bright young woman seems to be one of the most promising contestants yet on the new season, even creating her own revolutionary invention involving scannable QR codes.
