KBC 16: Amitabh Bachchan reveals he gets 'nervous' every time Jaya Bachchan calls, here's why!

This week on the iconic Amitabh Bachchan's Kaun Banega Crorepati 16, viewers will meet Saurav Choudhary, Senior Account Assistant at a CA Firm from Kolkata, West Bengal. During the show, when Saurav tells Big B about his location, the actor recalls how he was once located right across Bengal Chamber of Commerce in Dalhousie and was also offered Bengali classes. He also shared a hilarious incident with his wife Jaya Bachchan and revealed why he gets anxious seeing her phone call.

In the recent episode of KBC 16, Big B recalls a funny incident with his wife, Jaya Bachchan where he was required to speak in Bengali. However, he does not speak the language fluently anymore but then this created a problem for him.

The megastar revealed that Jaya Bachchan always speaks in Bengali when there are guests at home and they need to speak in private. He then said that he pretended that he understood but he didn't. The actor further added, "Recently, she was shooting for a film in Goa, and I got a phone call from her. Normally, we talk through messages, but this time, she called, and I got nervous. When my wife calls, I get anxious, not knowing what’s going to happen."

He added that he first hesitated to answer the call and when he did, Jaya started speaking in Bengali as there were people around her, however, Big B did not understand a word. He then says, "I just kept saying 'ha ha,' but after a while, I told her I didn’t understand what she was saying. So, sometimes, I have to do things like this. If you ask me today to speak Bengali, I don’t know it. I only know two words: Besi jane na, ektu ektu jaane (I don't know much, very little I can understand).”
