Sirajudheen Nazar is embracing all the love he is receiving for his role as Jaismon in the web series, while Kerala Crime Files 2 is receiving praises from all over the nation. In an interview with OTTplay, the young actor, who debuted in the 2018 movie Kaly, discussed his career goals.
What are your thoughts on the favourable response Jaismon is receiving?
Yes, I am really happy! It's a fantastic team to work with, and I am even more thrilled when I hear compliments about how the audience can relate to the character. It feels good that I was able to make a lasting impression on the audience. I was drawn to Jaismon because of his love for animals, and I could also relate to his actions for the same reason. Although I never owned a dog of my own, I used to like to pet the canines owned by my friends. I was close to Simba, the dog who plays Terry in this web series, throughout the entire filming process.
You have played negative parts in Kondal, RDX, and other projects. Have you ever felt like being stereotyped?
I don't believe so since I portrayed characters with both shades in these movies. I haven't portrayed villainism throughout in any of these films; eventually, these characters have positive realisations by the end. As long as I have adequate room to perform well, I am content with the roles I am given.

What do you think is the most challenging aspect of the film industry?
Given the abundance of platforms and talented artistes, survival is undoubtedly the most difficult aspect. Thriving and making a name for yourself in this field is really important. My main goal is to appear in good films. I didn't have any characters I had played to recommend for work, so at one point, I was hesitant to approach directors for a chance. However, I feel comfortable enough to reach out now. I don't want to be picky about acting in a certain genre because I've always wanted to be an actor since I was in school.
Your upcoming films?
My next film is Pet Detective, starring Sharaf U Dheen and Anupama Parameswaran in lead roles. There will hopefully be an announcement on the two films that are now in the pre-production phase soon.
