KGF: Chapter 2 – Sanjay Dutt reveals cancer recovery did not deter him from doing action scenes

Actor Sanjay Dutt is back to screens with KGF: Chapter 2. The actor portrays the antagonist Adheera in the sequel in the franchise which was first released in 2018.

The actor revealed that returning to the sets after his cancer diagnosis was very difficult, but that his ambition to shoot the film perfectly made him work perfectly.

Sanjay was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2020, which alarmed his admirers. He is, however, now in good health. In an interview with entertainment website Bollywood Bubble, he even mentioned how it didn't discourage him from doing all of the action scenes by himself.

After learning of his cancer diagnosis, Sanjay revealed that the filmmakers wanted him to perform on the green screen for his ease. But he stood firm against this idea and insisted on filming just like it was originally planned.

In the same interview, he also discussed the loss of his parents and also how his parents, Nargis and Sunil Dutt, have impacted his life. His wife Man, he says, was the one who encouraged him to perform KGF 2.
