The much-anticipated wedding of Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani have been the talk of the town for months. Even though the couple hasn't confirmed or denied the rumours, their alleged marriage has been the subject of numerous rumours. Recently, a number of media outlets even released the celebrity guest list for the power couple's wedding. By discussing it on Bigg Boss 16 and Koffee With Karan 7, respectively, Salman Khan and Karan Johar further fueled the fire.
Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani's wedding was previously revealed by India Today, and The Oberoi Sukhvilas in Chandigarh was reportedly being considered as a potential destination. According to sources familiar with the situation, the guest list has been confirmed to include Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal, Karan Johar, and Varun Dhawan.
Now, one of the invitees who opted to maintain their anonymity, though, has since denounced the wedding rumours as untrue and baseless. According to an ETimes report, the person told, "I have no knowledge of this wedding. I have certainly received no wedding invitation. I am absolutely certain nobody has received an invitation. There is no wedding. It's all part of somebody's imagination."
The source continued saying that unless it is a secret known only to the couple, they are not getting married anytime soon. The person went on to say that, "If it is a secret, how do these entertainment portals know about it? Drawing up guest lists is easy. Everyone knows whom Kiara and Sid are close to. Karan Johar is a name that comes immediately to mind."
In the biopic Shershaah, directed by Param Vir Chakra Captain Vikram Batra, Sidharth and Kiara were cast alongside one another.
