Kiccha Sudeep to launch official Vikrant Rona merchandise on July 20
The official merchandise will be launched tomorrow at 11 am

One thing that stood out at the trailer launch and subsequent events related to Kiccha Sudeep’s Vikrant Rona was that members of the extended team all wore cool hoodies and t-shirts with the film’s branding. Turns out, these are all part of the extensive Vikrant Rona merchandise package that will be available for purchase starting tomorrow. OTTplay has seen some of this merchandise during recent Vikrant Rona events and most of the hoodies and tees were in black. It remains to be seen if the final range will be available in other colours as well. Team Vikrant Rona has tied up with FullyFilmy to bring out its exclusive range of merchandise, all of which will be launched tomorrow, July 20, by Sudeep.

The Vikrant Rona merchandise announcement comes only days after the film’s NFT launch. As part of the larger Kichchaverse, NFTs of several props from the film are being made available for purchase, like, for instance, a digital version of the jacket worn by Sudeep in the film, or the gun he wields in the trailer, etc. The team is also monetising the Dubai premiere of the film through NFT-driven memberships ranging between Rs 10,000 and Rs 5 lakh, which will give fans access to the red carpet event, one-on-one time with Sudeep, as well as the opportunity to party with him, depending on the type of membership.

The film, meanwhile, is set for a theatrical release on July 28, and will be available in 3D and 2D in Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. The makers have associated with CineDubs to allow audiences to watch the film in the language of their choice, using the app and a pair of good headphones, irrespective of the geographical region they are at, or the version of the film that is playing in the theatre. This facility, however, will only be available in movie halls.
