For good reasons and bad, Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has been in the news a lot lately. And now, the Laal Singh Chaddha actor is all set to make an appearance on director-producer Karan Johar’s chat show, Koffee With Karan season 7.

The upcoming episode, which will start streaming on the OTT platform Disney + Hotstar from August 4, will see the host of the show asking questions about Khan’s equation with his two ex-wives Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao. To which, the megastar replies saying that everything is friendly and cordial between them and that there’s genuine ‘care and love and respect towards each other’.

“We all get together once a week, no matter how busy we are. There is a lot of genuine care, love and respect towards each other… I have the highest regard and respect for both of them. Hum log hamesha parivar hi rahenge (We will always be a family),” he was quoted as saying by The Indian Express.

Aamir Khan got married to Reena Dutta in 1986 and the former couple has two children together - Junaid Khan and Ira Khan. He then got married to Kiran Rao in 2005 and they have a son together, Azad Rao Khan. They parted ways amicably last year but informed the media through a joint statement that they will continue to co-parent Azad.

In the recently released promo for the Koffee with Karan 7 episode, both Kareena and Aamir can be seen roasting Karan Johar. It so happened that KJo asked Kareena about her sex life after giving birth to two kids, and she replied saying that he would know better as he has twins himself.

Taken aback by her frankness, Karan Johar quickly reminds Kareena that his mother is watching the show. To which, Aamir replies, saying, “Your mother doesn’t mind you talking about other people’s sex lives? Kaise sawaal pooch raha hai (What kind of questions you're asking)?”

Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha is scheduled to release in theatres on August 11, 2022.
