Koffee With Karan 7: Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh gear up to shoot for Karan Johar's popular talk show

On Wednesday, Karan Johar's news about Koffee With Karan not returning with another season stunned the movie-buffs, meanwhile, after a few hours the ace filmmaker clarified that the show won't be returning to television and the seventh season of the famous talk show will be available to stream exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar. Meanwhile, reportedly, the Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani stars Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh are gearing up to shoot the first episode of Koffee With Karan season 7.

On May 4, the giant filmmaker shocked his fans with a post on Instagram that mentioned that Koffee With Karan will not be returning, while the statement by KJo ended midway. The post broke the hearts of many audiences who were expecting a lot from the upcoming season. One of the IG followers even commented, "WHAT! Noooooooo! We were all waiting for a married couples series (sic)."

After a while, Karan shared another post on social media and surprised the fans with the announcement of Koffee With Karan season 7, and to justify his earlier statement, the Indian director-producer mentioned that the popular talk show won't be returning on television but will be available to stream on the OTT giant exclusively.

According to a report on Pinkvilla, Alia and Ranveer will be the first guests to be seen on the seventh season of Koffee With Karan. The Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani duo will be shooting for their episode around 10 May.

Both the actors are currently filming Karan Johar's highly anticipated film along with a huge ensemble including the iconic actors such as Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, while the prominent Bengali actor Tota Roy Chowdhury will be featured in the upcoming movie too.

Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani is slated to release on February 10, 2023.
