Koffee With Karan 7: Karan Johar reveals why he admires love stories of Ranbir-Alia and Katrina-Vicky

Karan Johar's ever popular series Koffee With Karan is returning with season 7 on July 7. The director opened up on the reason behind his favourite pairings in Bollywood in a chat with Pinkvilla, and revealed how the love journeys of Ranbir-Aila and Katrina-Vicky began on this couch.

He said, "I love the Vicky-Katrina romance. I love that it came out of nowhere and it was beautiful and it started on this couch. I also love the Ranbir-Alia romance because that too started here. Taking full credit, I've become Sima Taparia."

Katrina mentioned how she and Vicky would look amazing in a movie together on Season 6 of Koffee with Karan. Vicky responded hysterically to Katrina’s comment on him and almost fainted. The couple tied the knot in Rajasthan in December 2021, in the presence of families and friends from both the sides, thus making it an intimate and extravagant ceremony.

Alia, on the other hand, revealed her affections for Ranbir in the chat show. During one of the segments in the show, Karan questioned which Bollywood celebrities Alia might want to see in her Swayamvar. The Highway star didn't think twice about taking Ranbir's name. Ranbir and Alia married in April this year and are expecting their first child. The actress had posted a snapshot on her Instagram account in which she informed her followers about the news.

Season 7 of Koffee With Karan is set to return after a two-year hiatus. This season's first episode will feature Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh. From July 7, the much-expected show will be available on Disney+Hotstar.
