Koffee with Karan 7: Karan Johar says “Screw it, I'm still going to brew it!” to naysayers in new promo

Karan Johar is all set with his cup of piping hot coffee and carefully constructed questions, as Koffee with Karan is gearing up for its seventh season. The host has never shied away from asking his celebrity guests some bold questions and unsurprisingly, the show has ruffled quite a few feathers indeed throughout its run. But that doesn't seem to stop Karan from giving the people what they want, as he gave all the naysayers a befitting reply in a new promo video for the show.

In the video, Karan talks about how he was well aware that ‘everybody’ was awaiting the show’s return. His monologue gets hilariously interrupted by a string of social media posts from netizens criticising the show and host,with some even calling for a boycott of KWK. As Karan tries to salvage it by saying that everyone wants to come on the show, the video cuts to shots of him desperately trying to convince people to come as guests on the show, giving promises and offering gifts. In the end he says “Screw it, I'm still going to brew it! You can love me, you can hate me, but you’re never going to get enough of Koffee with Karan”.

Koffee with Karan returns after a gap of almost three years. The popular show, which has earned a spot as one of the longest running chat shows on Indian television, last aired in 2019 .

The celebrities who are expected to make an appearance on the show in its latest season include, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani actors Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, Liger actor Vijay Deverakonda, RRR stars Ram Charan and Jr NTR, among others.

Koffee with Karan season 7 will start streaming exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar from July 7, 2022.
