Koffee with Karan Season 8: Kareena Kapoor Khan opens on playing Sara Ali Khan’s mom in a film, says ‘I think I am...’

Last night, the fourth episode of Koffee with Karan Season 8 premiered on Disney Plus Hotstar. Hosted by Karan Johar, the episode featured Kareena Kapoor Khan and Alia Bhatt as the guests on the show. They discussed their personal and professional lives in a fun way in detail. During a conversation on the show, Kareena Kapoor Khan – who is Sara Ali Khan’s stepmother, shared her thoughts on playing Amrita Singh’s role on screen. Here’s what happened next.

During a conversation on the show, filmmaker Karan Johar asked Kareena whether she would ever essay the role of Amrita Singh on screen. She comfortably replied, “I think I am an actor. I can play (a role in) all ages. So, you never know.”

Karan reassured her statement by asking, “So, you are open to it?” Kareena said, “I am open to anything that is acting.”

For the unfamiliar, Kareena Kapoor Khan is the wife of actor Saif Ali Khan. Before marrying Kareena, Saif was in a romantic relationship with actress Amrita Singh with whom he broke up later.

Saif and Amrita gave birth to kids namely Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan. After Saif and Amrita separated, Amrita kept the custody of the kids.

Currently, Saif is married to Kareena and has two kids with her namely Jeh and Taimur.
