Kriti Sanon – who has not appeared as a guest on Koffee with Karan Season 8, has bashed out those claiming that promoted trading platforms on the show.
Looks like popular diva Kriti Sanon has received unpleasant news this day! Reportedly, a few websites claim that the 33-year-old national award-winning actor is promoting illegal trading platforms via the popular reality show Koffee with Karan. Lashing out at those making such claims, she said on Instagram today that she has initiated legal action in the matter.
Kriti Sanon initiates a legal action
Kriti wrote on Instagram Stories, “There have been several articles reporting false news about me promoting some trading platforms at Koffee with Karan. These articles are completely fake and false and have been published with dishonest and mala fide intent. These articles are defamatory and are false associating me with the trading platforms.”
She also added that she had never spoken regarding any trading platform on the show. “I have taken legal action against such false articles and reports and issued legal notice. I request everyone to be cautious against such false, fake, and defamatory reports (folded hands emoji),” she wrapped up the conversation.
Notably, Kriti has over 55.7 million Instagram followers as of date. Clearly, any development around her generates online news.
Kriti Sanon and her professional career
Kriti Sanon is set to share the screen with Shahid Kapoor in an upcoming romantic comedy, the title of which is yet to be revealed. Following that, she will join Tabu and Kareena Kapoor Khan in the female-centric film, The Crew, centered around an aircrew. This year, Sanon marked a new venture with the launch of her production company, Blue Butterfly Films. Under this banner, she is set to produce and star in Do Patti, a mystery film for Netflix, alongside actress Kajol.
