Kriti Sanon is all excited for the release of her highly-anticipated movie Bachchhan Paandey. Her last two films, Hum Do Hamare Do and Mimi gained positive reviews among critics as well as the audience, while the latter was completely on her shoulders. Meanwhile, the actress has recently opened up about how male actors of the industry get insecure when the actresses get to portray the most important characters in Bollywood movies.
In a recent interview with Indian Express, Kriti mentioned that she has been in a situation where a lot of male actors refused to work with her in a project, where the actress gets more screen time than them. "Nobody was willing to do it. So, I obviously think that these things need to change a little. What Akshay did in Atrangi Re was so commendable. It was a small but good role. Akshay is so not insecure of anyone, and plays his part honestly." she added.
Meanwhile, recently, the Khiladi actor has been seen talking about his concerns that Bachchhan Paandey's box office collection may affect with a heavy margin as SS Raojamouli's RRR, which stars Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn and Shriya Saran, is slated to release just a week after Akshay's film. Though he further added that he wishes that all films releasing now become hit, as due to pandemic a barrage of projects got shelved for future and have suffered great losses.
Apart from Kriti and Akshay, the forthcoming crime-comedy drama film also has Arshad Warsi, Pankaj Tripathi, Prateik Babbar and Sanjay Mishra in pivotal roles among others. Bachchhan Paandey is all set for a colorful release this Holi on March 18 in theatres.
