Kunal Kemmu 'super excited' about Abhay 3; says he is a 'massive fan of the franchise'

Kunal Kemmu is getting ready for Abhay 3 and recently expressed his excitement, saying that he believes we are living in a golden age of streaming and there is some incredible content on various OTT platforms not just in India but all over the world, but Abhay, as one of the first very successful OTT shows, has managed to stand the test of time, which he thinks is truly remarkable. 

Abhay is about this no-nonsense cop who, even though his personal life is in shambles, is always ready to hunt down the next serial killer or solve the next problem, and it's absolutely amazing, the actor told Mid Day.

He continued that it's almost as if with each passing episode, one gets to meet the villain of the week, or over a couple of episodes, one gets to see more and more different types of crazy people in the show. It's also enthralling that he is a huge fan of this franchise and is very excited.

This season is unlike any other because Abhay is confronted with a new type of evil; a dark force capable of manipulating anyone in the name of a twisted ideological belief.

The director, Ken Ghosh, told the tabloid that after two successful seasons, it was difficult to come up with tactics to match the success of previous seasons, but challenges always push you to strive harder. Now that season three has been shot and edited, the filmmaker is confident that viewers will be in for another thrilling ride, with an amazing cast to keep them on the edge of their seats.

After two successful and critically acclaimed seasons, the Abhay franchise has carved out its niche in the thriller genre, and the wait for Season 3 is finally over, with the premiere date set for April 8. 

Abhay Season Three is directed by Ken Ghosh and produced by Zee Studios. It stars Kunal Kemmu, Asha Negi, and Nidhi Singh in returning roles, as well as Vijay Raaz, Rahul Dev, Vidya Malvade, Tanuj Virwani, and Divya Agarwal in new roles.
