Bigg Boss Telugu fame Sohel is leaving no stone unturned to carve a niche for himself in the film industry with a flurry of projects. One of his upcoming releases is Lucky Lakshman, a family entertainer revolving around the trials and tribulations of a youngster. Written and directed by AR Abhi, the film is bankrolled by Haritha Gogineni under Dattatreya Media.
Mokksha plays the female lead in the film. The title track of Lucky Lakshman was unveiled by Kushi director Shiva Nirvana today. Anup Rubens composes the music for the same. Ram Miriyala has crooned for the number lyricised by Bhaskarabhatla. The song is a quintessential party number that’s fast-paced, catchy, colourful and features a liberal mishmash of Telugu and English words.
The number unfolds in the backdrop of a pub and is a celebration of the protagonist getting filthy rich overnight and the lyrics reflect how his life has taken a drastic turn ever since. Lines like ‘Fateuu maarindhe, routuu maarindhe, top to bottom styleuu maarindhe’ emphasise the same in typical Bhaskarabhatla style - lyrics that make sense and talk the language of the common man.
The makers share that the team is leaving nothing to chance with the scale and the technical appeal of the film. “We’re confident that audiences will appreciate our efforts,” they add. I Andrew is the cinematographer while Prawin Pudi is the editor. Charan and Vishal are the art director and the choreographer respectively.
