Kushi: Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha’s multilingual rom-com wraps up Kashmir schedule

There’s immense excitement around Kushi, Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha’s second collaboration after Mahanati. Both the stars are in the form of their lives, garnering popularity among audiences across various parts of the country with their current and upcoming projects. Kushi is a romantic comedy, written and directed by Ninnu Kori, Majili maker Shiva Nirvana.

Kushi, whose first look poster was unveiled recently, will hit theatres in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam during the Christmas weekend on December 23. The makers today shared that they’ve finished filming an extensive first schedule across picturesque locales in Kashmir. The entire team came together for a picture at the shoot location, shared by Mythri Movie Makers.

The second schedule of Kushi is set to commence soon. Interestingly both the lead actors celebrated their birthdays with the film team during the first schedule. Touted to be a light-hearted romance, the film’s lineup also comprises Jayaram, Sachin Khedakar, Murali Sharma, Lakshmi, Ali, Rohini while Vennela Kishore, Rahul Ramakrishna, Srikanth Iyengar, Saranya play key roles too.

Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Ravishankar Yalamanchili, Kushi is cinematographed by G Murali and edited by Prawin Pudi. Hridayam composer Hesham Abdul Wahab makes his Telugu debut with the project. Jayashree Lakshminarayanan and Peter Hein take care of the production design, stunt choreography respectively. Rajesh,Harman Kaur and Pallavi Singh are the costume designers.
