KVR Mahendra’s ‘Bharatanatyam’ teaser promises a thrilling tale

The first glimpse of Surya Teja Aelay's debut film ‘Bharatanatyam’ was released recently. The glimpse explains the film's tagline, ‘Cinema is the most beautiful fraud in the world'. This is the underlying theme of the movie.

The teaser, which has now been released, revolves around the story of a man who is deeply passionate about the art of filmmaking. It also immerses viewers into the character's world as he narrates a tale.

The teaser introduces us to key characters like Harshavardhan, who is a notorious goon; Ajay Ghosh, who plays a law enforcement officer; and a handful of other intriguing characters. It appears that everyone in this narrative is on a quest to uncover the essence of ‘Bharatanatyam’, but the big question remains - what exactly is Bharatanatyam? Is it a valuable object or something more profound?

Cast and crew

Director KVR Mahendra, known for his poignant debut in the emotional drama ‘Dorasani’, a heartfelt love story, has taken a striking departure from his previous filmmaking style with ‘Bharatanatyam.’

The music, scored by Vivek Sagar, enhances the teaser's impact. Bankrolled by Payal Saraf, the makers are yet to announce the release date of the film. 

With the release of its teaser, this crime-comedy-mystery is becoming a much awaited film.
