Aamir Khan’s upcoming coming-of-age movie Laal Singh Chaddha is gearing up for its big release. Telugu stars such as Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna were shown a private preview of the movie, and it has moved the megastar. Chiranjeevi also took to social media to share his thoughts about the movie. 

“Fascinating how a chance meeting & a little chat with my dear friend #AamirKhan @Kyoto airport - Japan, few years ago led to me becoming a part of his dream project #LaalSinghChaddha. Thank You #AamirKhan for the exclusive preview at my home.Heartened by your warm warm gesture!,” Chiranjeevi wrote in a Tweet. 

The Telugu megastar also called the movie a “a wonderful emotional journey” and a “gem of a film”. 

The tweet also came with a video titled ‘A sneak peak of Laal Singh Chaddha special preview’, where the stars can be seen engaging in a discussion before watching the private screening. Chiranjeevi looks moved after the screening and can be seen giving Aamir Khan a hug, which also makes the Bollywood star teary eyed. “Full expression. Hats off,” said Chiranjeevi as Nagarjuna added, “Killed it!”

The special screening was also attended by S.S. Rajamouli, Sukumar, and Naga Chaitanya. Chiranjeevi is also presenting the movie in Telugu, which also marks the Bollywood debut of Naga Chaitanya. 

Laal Singh Chaddha, which is one of the most-anticiapted Bollywood movies of the year, is the official Hindi remake of the classic Forrest Gump starring Tom Hanks. Helmed by Advait Chandan, Atul Kulkarni has adapted the original screenplay. 

Backed by Aamir Khan Productions and Viacom18 Studios, the movie also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead. Laal Singh Chaddha is set to hit theatres around the country on August 11.
