Laapataa Ladies first song to be out on February 5 – Know its title here

Kiran Rao's upcoming directorial venture, 'Laapataa Ladies,' has become one of the most eagerly awaited films of 2024. The recently unveiled trailer, featuring the stellar cast of Pratibha Ranta, Sparsh Shrivastav, and Nitanshi Goel, has captured the audience's attention, offering a glimpse into Kiran Rao's captivating and culturally rich narrative. Set to be released in cinemas on March 1st, 2024, the film is already generating excitement. To build anticipation, a grand premiere hosted by Kiran Rao and Aamir Khan is scheduled in the City of Lakes, Bhopal, ahead of the release. Additionally, the film's first song is set to be released on February 5.

T-Series – the official music partner of the film, announced today that the first song of the project will be released publicly on February 5. Titled ‘Doubtwa’, the song has been sung by Sukhwinder Singh. Divyanidhi Sharma has penned the lyrics, while Ram Sampath composed the music.

“Ye shady-sayani lady ki kahani #Doubtwa, song out on 5th Feb. Stay tuned! #LaapataaLadies” wrote T-Series on Instagram.

Crafted under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions and Kindling Productions, 'Laapataa Ladies' is directed by Kiran Rao and produced by Aamir Khan and Jyoti Deshpande, in association with Jio Studios. Set to release on March 1st, 2024, the film is based on an award-winning story by Biplab Goswami, with the screenplay and dialogue penned by Sneha Desai, complemented by additional dialogues by Divyanidhi Sharma.3

The narrative unfolds in both India's heartland and urban settings, capturing authentic scenes in the real locations of Sehore, Madhya Pradesh. The film integrates real-life villagers and locations, providing a genuine portrayal of its compelling story.

This upcoming film marks Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao’s first collaboration, in the capacity of producer and director, since their separation in 2021. Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao are parents of one child together named Azad Rao Khan.
