Left Right Left, the multi-starrer film that hit the theatres in 2013, remains one of the finest political dramas ever produced by the Malayalam film industry. The movie directed by Arun Kumar Aravind and penned by Murali Gopy, was subject to controversies at the time of its release. Murali Gopy himself played one of the protagonists in the film, along with Indrajith Sukumaran, Hareesh Peradi, Lena, and others. Left Right Left, which completed 11 years of its release, is now available for online streaming.
If you missed watching Left Right Left in theatres, you can always stream the film online. The Arun Kumar Aravind, which has been considered one of the most important political films made in Malayalam, is currently available for streaming on Sun NXT. The Murali Gopy-Indrajith Sukumaran starrer can be watched in OTTplay Premium as well. International viewers can also stream the film on Amazon Prime Video. However, the political drama does not have a dubbed version yet and is only streaming in Malayalam.
The popular movie revolves around three principal characters who believe in different political ideologies – PK Jayan aka ‘Vattu’ Jayan, Roy Joseph aka Che Guevera Roy, and Kaitheri Sahadevan. Jayan who loses his little sister at a young age due to their poverty, while Roy and Sahadevan’s fathers are murdered by the goons hired by the opposition party. Jayan grows up to become a corrupt police officer, Roy becomes a teacher and a strong Communist, and Sahadevan becomes the ruthless leader of a Leftist party.

Roy, who becomes a well-respected politician, exposes Sahadevan’s corruption with the help of his friends. The revenge-driven Sahadevan murders Roy’s friends and leaves him partially paralyzed. The story later takes a different turn after ‘Vattu’ Jayan, who is punished for assaulting his girlfriend Jennifer’s ex-husband, crosses paths with the duo.

Indrajith Sukumaran played the role of ‘Vattu’ Jayan in the film, which features Murali Gopy and Hareesh Peradi as Roy Joseph and Kaitheri Sahadevan, respectively. Lena played the role of Roy’s wife Anitha, while Remya Nambeesan appeared as Jayan’s deceptive girlfriend Jennifer. The movie also featured Sethulakshmi, Jagadish, Baiju Santhosh, Anursree, Vijayaraghavan, Mamukkoya, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and others in the supporting roles. Gopi Sunder composed the music. Director Arun Kumar Aravind handled the editing himself. Shehnad Jalal is the director of photography.
