Leo: Europe distributor reveals their plans for the release of Thalapathy Vijay's forthcoming project

The hype for Lokesh Kanagaraj's Leo escalated after the release of its first single Naa Ready which has now clocked 50M views on YouTube. Vijay's dance moves and Anirudh's foot-tapping music became an instant hit among their fans and other film buffs.

Cinephiles are now waiting for the next update from the makers. The movie is hitting the screens in four languages on October 19, and its theatrical rights in several territories have been sold. Netflix acquired its digital rights for a huge price long ago.  

4 Seasons Creations, the movie's distributor in Europe, has now announced that the film will have a record release there for a south Indian project. This has left fans thrilled, and it is more or less confirmed that Leo is set for a thunderous opening. Phars Film, Ahimsa Entertainment, and Gokulam Movies have bagged theatrical rights in the GCC markets, the UK, and Kerala respectively.

All eyes are now on its distribution in Tamil Nadu, though it is heard that Red Giant Movies is likely to bag the rights. The production house had released Lokesh's previous outing Vikram across the state. They also presented Vijay's last film Varisu in a few territories in the state.

With almost 100 days left before its huge release, the makers haven't revealed whether Leo is part of Lokesh's LCU amid various speculation doing the rounds on its cast. Anurag Kashyap is the latest to have joined the movie which has Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, Mysskin, and Gautham Menon among others essaying key roles.

Seven Screen Studio has bankrolled the movie which has cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa, action choreography by Anbariv, and editing by Philomin Raj.
